- Current batteries are 30/40 kWh, not the earlier 25/35 kWh. Both have 154 Nm; rear drums are verified. Do not copy the older 190 Nm/rear-disc specifications.
- Camera and EPB/auto-hold require 40 kWh. Smart+ 30 lacks both. Smart+/Adventure use wired Android Auto/CarPlay; native wireless starts at Empowered.
- Only Empowered+ S has ventilation, leatherette, LED projectors and sunroof. The sunroof is single-pane. Hyperstyle wheels on Adventure are steel, not alloys.

A quick pre-delivery inspection (PDI) before you accept your car.
- Match the VIN, Punch EV variant, powertrain and paint on the vehicle against your order and invoice before accepting delivery.
- Inspect the clean car in daylight: paint, panels, glass, tyres, lights, seats and every promised accessory. Photograph concerns and get a written resolution.
- Ask the dealer to demonstrate charging, the supplied cable, charge-port release and battery warranty terms for your exact variant.

All six current 30/40 kWh combinations match Tata's Bengaluru public price-filter results (India-KA-BANGALORE), current specification codes and the 2026 Bharat NCAP annexure. These are full-vehicle prices. The brochure's 30 kWh 365–375 km band is still marked under certification; its settled certified range remains unverified here. C75 estimates are manufacturer internal testing, not independent road tests. Website disagreements on 30 kWh hill hold, Smart+ 40 mirror adjustment, Empowered cluster size and contrast roof are disclosed; current brochure takes precedence. Driven wheels and separate 7.2 kW package/paint charges remain unverified.
