How we standardise quotes

Each record keeps the exact variant and reported powertrain, city, registration basis, model year, quotation and posting dates, price scope, charge lines, discounts and their conditions, inclusions, evidence type and original source. All amounts are INR. Unknown fields stay “Not reported”. A blank accessory or warranty row does not mean free. We record changes to the total without inventing a revised breakdown.

Written evidence means a quote image was read; buyer report means the amount comes from the buyer’s text. Neither confirms dealer authenticity. Price comparisons are useful only when the car, location, registration and included cover match.
